SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: Making Sandwiches for Tent City 5 and St. Francis House Thank You to our generous parishioners who regularly make sandwiches and hard boiled eggs for St. Francis House.  Your continued efforts help some of the most needy people in our Seattle community.  Please continue to provide this valuable gift of your time and treasure.  Drop off is between 7:30 am and 9:00 am every Wednesday morning in the parish center. As the need for food continues to grow every day for those who are homeless or temporarily housed at Tent City 5, we want to provide an opportunity for you to make an even bigger impact by joining the Fatima Service Team to make a larger quantity of sandwiches together. Please join the Service Team on Tuesday Jan. 30th at 7:00 -7:45 pm in the parish center. Families welcome.  RSVP is requested, but not required. Sign up here.  Please indicate how many people and if you can bring some food supplies.   We will make PB&J and ham and cheese sandwiches.  Our goal is twofold: to make at least 200 sandwiches to feed each individual that comes in to St. Francis House on Wednesday and for those who live at Tent City 5.

Please use individual sandwich bags and put back into the bread bag with a label that identifies what they are-tuna, cheese, ham, beef, PB&J, egg, and so on. Fatima’s food on Wednesdays is often the only nourishment the St Francis clients have to eat on Wednesdays. Please put hard boiled eggs into the carton secured with a rubber band. St Francis House also especially needs clean men’s clothing such as jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts and shoes.  Email questions to: service@olfatima.org
